NEW WORK | #BTS THE 9LIST BRIDAL AND WELLNESS FASHION SHOW

Who doesn’t love a behind the scenes moment? There is a lot of work that goes into doing one project or another around Athleisure Media. THE 9LIST Bridal and Wellness Fashion Show had a few components. This IG Live event included a Q+A with The Sample Room NY’s principal, Iván Meza which we also recorded live for our podcast. We had a style presentation and fashion show of key looks from Barcelona design duo YolanCris and accessorized by Lagos Jewelry. We also did a photoshoot after the event!

This event took place on Oct 5th days before NY Bridal Fashion Week so it was nice to preview these pieces, find out about the showroom and to give wellness tips that are much needed when you’re focused on the journey of getting married!

These shots show how all of these came together and give you insight on the showroom itself for those brides that may be thinking about where they will get the dress of their dreams!

One of my favorite tools that I use when I am not styling for Athleisure Media or doing other projects is my podcast equipment as we have a number of great shows that will be coming out soon. Focusrite has their Vocaster series which is my go-to to record clean audio! I was sent the Vocaster One which allows you to plug in with your XLR microphone and if you have a person who you are interviewing that is on the phone, you can connect via a wire to the Vocaster One. Because I had a person with me recording in person, I brought along my Vocaster Studio 2 which comes with 1 microphone,as well as the device that things plug into and it has a channel for the host and the guest. I like that if I were to use a phone interview on this one, it can be connected wirelessly! I record on my Surface Laptop 2 and I use Adobe Audition! When I am recording podcasts, I always use my Shure MV7 microphone and my guest uses the Focusrite microphone that comes with the studio set up! I like how portable this is and how I can pop everything into a Dagne Dover backpack (Indi Diaper Backpack in Small) that I use. Within 15 mins, I can set up whet I need an in this case, we had a small table and everything could fit on it without a problem!
